WHAT IS THE SENIOR MANAGER READINESS PROGRAM (SMRP)? The Senior Manager Readiness Program (SMRP) offers well qualified individuals the opportunity to receive structured professional leadership development and experience. During the two year training and development program, all participants will be assigned a mentor, complete Career Learning Plans, and attend leadership-training classes. In addition, candidates will receive at least one developmental acting assignment and participate in a variety of developmental activities. These developmental activities may include details and/or temporary promotions that exceed 120 days in duration. The goal is to prepare you to compete for future senior manager positions.
